Following the success of his 2022 hit "Country of Her Soul," Billy Woodley is back to grace the airwaves with his newest single, "No Lies." This track marks a significant shift from his previous work, delving into the complex dynamics of communication in a vulnerable state. The song is an exploration of the struggles faced by two individuals as they attempt to penetrate each other's defences to reach the truth of their problems.
"No Lies" stands as a testament to Woodley's growth as an artist, moving away from the alt-rock energy of "If It Isn't So Clear" and building further on his country stylings introduced in "Country of Her Soul." The new single promises to resonate deeply with listeners, offering a raw and relatable narrative.
Produced by esteemed Country music producer Nash Chambers, Woodley is focusing on a more Nashville sound with "No Lies." The song's narrative is imbued with the same authenticity and gruffness that Australian music press Amnplify praised in his earlier works, ensuring a connection with his audience that is both genuine and heartfelt.

A self-taught singer songwriter, Billy grew up with music in his blood. Billy fine tunes his music sharing doses of his life in the Pilbara, drawing on real life experiences shaping an authentic, refreshing sound that will capture your attention and send chills up and down your spine.
Having released his single successfully “ Country Of Her Soul,” in 2021, after being awarded a spot in Tamworth’s Academy of Country Music in 2019, where Billy worked alongside names like Catherine Britt and Kevin Bennett Billy has found his purpose in creating and performing original music. Billy has played at some of W.A’s bigger festivals and events, most recently sharing the stage with Troy Cassar-Daley at the Gumala 25 year Celebration Concert in Billy's home town of Port Hedland, As well as playing at some of W.A’s bigger festivals and events including Nannup Music Festival, Bunuru Festival, Fremantle's hidden treasures and the W.A NAIDOC Awards, just to name a few.
With a drive and determination to touch hearts with his songs and share his music across Australia’s stages, the sky is the limit for this upcoming local artist.
